Part One - Overview...
OVERVIEW
Imagine how you could manage your finances using Quicken…

On one screen you see all your accounts balances, and you can click on any account to see historical and upcoming deposits and charges. With one mouse click you can see your balance sheet, or a graph of your net worth, or how much you’ve spent this month or year and where you’ve spent it.

With another mouse click, you can see all your investments on one screen, from your 401k plan to all your brokerage accounts, and you can click on any of them to get complete detail. You can see a report that shows your net return on your investments, taking into account what you bought and sold, and when, and all your expenses.

Quicken can help you save for a down payment on a house or other short term goals, and you can use Quicken to pay your bills electronically. Quicken can give you an estimate of the amount of income taxes you will owe or the refund you will receive for the current year, and detailed tax schedule information.

Best of all, this takes less time than you now spend managing your finances, because so much of your bill payment and transaction entry is automated.
